I like being crafty. It doesn't consume my life, but I do really like it. A few months ago, I really got into this -->
If you can't tell what it is, it's a tutu bowholder. Still confused? It hangs on the wall, and the cute little ribbons hanging from the waist hold little girls' hairbows! I know, adorable, right?? (oh, and the ribbon around the bodice holds little clips!)
I wanted to do this for my give-away... but I also realize that some of you are either, A) parents of boys, or B) aren't raising children (yet), OR C) will soon have a boy AND a girl! (I love you, Holly!)
So the give-away options are as follows:
A) Girls Tutu Bowholder (Custom colors)
B) Boy's Animal Lovey (Custom color/animal, I can make it for a girl, too.) (sans embroidery, I'm not THAT good yet!)
C) A custom etched-glass cube. (Makes a great nightlight, ask me how!)
(with your name/custom etched onto it, also in 6x12)

Sterling, I follow your blog, because I am one of those women that is unable to have children. It has been 9 years since my husband I have been married and we have always wanted children. We are going through the adoption process with LDS Social Services and what a great experience that has been so far. Feel free to look at our blog, I am not that good at it yet, it's only been something I have done in the last couple months.
ReplyDeleteYou asked us to tell you why I love adoption, the reason I love adoption is there are so many loving couples out there that have longed for so long for a baby and by you giving so selflessly, you (and all the other birth moms)are making someones dreams come true, and giving the baby an opportunity to be apart of an eternal family. It is just a great thing all around. I know it's tough being on this end, I can't imagine what it's like for the birth mothers. My heart goes out to you and all of the other birth mothers out there, and I want to tell you Thank You!!
I wish you all the best-
Danielle
